<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate any possibility of a paper sheet being conveyed in a laterally inclined state by making control in such a way that a point of time when a matching part is released from matching is caused to fall behind a time when the forward end of a paper sheet delivered to a paper feed route is held by means of a conveyance roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet S the side edge part of which is regulated and corrected by means of a matching part 409 is delivered by means of a friction force between a paper feed roller and an auxiliary roller in such a way that when a paper feed signal is outputted, an auxiliary roller 445 is rotated counterclockwise togetherwith a paper feed roller 444, and nipped by means of the paper feed roller 444. As a result of a one-way regulating guide 419 being switched, the paper sheet S is guided to the paper feed route 420 side. The forward end part S2 of the paper sheet S is detected when the forward end thereof passes a reset sensor 423 and counting by a timer is started. At this time, both sides of the paper sheet S are still guided by a guide member 415. Since the forward end S2 of the supplied paper sheet is held by a conveyance roller 422, the matching part 409, simultaneously, is released from matching. Therefore stable conveyance of the paper sheet is carried out.</p> |
