<p>A centrifugal casting devices comprises a cylinder (I) contg. a tubular mould, a two armed lever (II)(III) carries a riser (IV) at the free end of arm (II) and arm (III) presses on a roller (V) whose axis parallel to that of (II) and (III) and which is housed in an opening in (I) through which half-moulds are introduced. (V) is mounted on an arm (VI) independent of (II) and (III) and mounted on (I) and urged by a spring, pref. U shaped towards the axis of (I). (III) extends (II) and faces past of (VI) so that (IV) takes the strain of the spring during rotation of (I) and exercises centripetal pressure on (V) which bears against a half mould. The appts. ensures perfect centring of the half moulds.</p> |
