The wheels are complete with hub (6), disc (7), rim (8) and tyre (9), and revolve on two parallel axles (2) in a frame (1). They are spaced out along the axles with a gap between each, and the tyres are filled with concrete or mortar mixed with sand, gravel or metal granular aggregate (11). The wheels are prevented by stop discs (12) from sliding along axially, and the surface of the axles is covered with a coat of noise inhibiting material. The wheels are arranged off set so that one set of wheels track along where spaces occur in the other set. A tow bar (4) is fitted to one end of the frame for hooking on to a tractor. ADVANTAGE - Satisfies all requirements for compacting ground, particularly uneven ground.
