The nipples (3) have an inner thread and a location for application of a torque permitting the nipple to be turned in order to adjust the individual pre-stress of each spoke. The wheel also has several spokes (6) provided at their radial outer end with an outer thread (7) which works in conjunction with the inner thread of the nipple.In order that the spokes be changed without dismantling the tyre, the nipple is supported on the rim (1) by a further thread coupling (8,9). Preferably, the additional thread coupling is formed by an outer thread (8) on the nipple working in conjunction with an inner thread (9) in the nipple hole of the rim (1). Both thread coupling (8,9,7) differ from one another by their pitch and/or orientation values.
