PURPOSE:To control the filter paper wherefrom a sample has been gathered more securely and simultaneously a later measuring process more speedily by a method wherein the above filter paper is placed on the adhesive surface of an adhesive tape and a covering tape is laid on the filter paper under pressure. CONSTITUTION:After the filter paper A wherefrom a sample has been gathered is placed on an adhesive tape 2 through a guide hole 7, a driving roller 4 is rotated at a fixed angle by an optional means and the filter paper A is held between the adhesive tape 2 and a covering tape 3, while the unnecessary edge piece B of the paper A being cut off by a blade piece 9. By this method, storage and carriage of the filter paper A employed in a wipeout type radioactive surface pollution measurement can be performed very securely and only cutting of tapes 2 and 3 between the pieces of filter paper is required for preparation to perform a measurement by a measuring device, while measurement with the filter paper A placed consequentively on the tape 2 is also possible, thus a measuring work being performed efficiently.
