摘要 |
PURPOSE:To shorten an adjusting time by a method wherein a zirconia oxygen concentration cell is installed at the downstream side in a retort and its sensor part is so located as to be in a fixed temp. zone at the steady-state operating time in a transforming furnace equipped with a control means for an air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:The sensor part 41 of a zirconia oxygen concentration cell 40 is installed at the downstream side in a retort 10 in a zone where the temp. is under the breaking temp. for the part 41 and the detecting ability of the part 41 is exhibited at the steady-state operating time. In this constitution, the cell 40 generates an electromotive force on the basis of the O2 quantity of a converted gas to feed it into a control circuit 60. The circuit 60 compares the input electromotive force with a standard range to adjust an air-fuel ratio by operating an air-fuel adjusting part 20 for the air fuel ratio. By this constitution the time required to obtain a desired converted gas is shortened and the unnecessary generating quantity of the converted gas may be reduced. |
