PURPOSE:To provide a terminal block having a compact size, allowing the easy connecting of a flat cable and a round cable, and ensuring a proper electrical connection. CONSTITUTION:A flush type screw 17 having a screw hole 18 at the center for connection to a conductor 1a inside a flat cable 1, is screwed into and fixed to a terminal block 13. In this case, the terminal of a round cable and the terminal of the flat cable 1 are coaxially positioned and, therefore, the terminal block can be made compact. Also, the round cable and the flat cable 1 are connected to each other at a separate process, and a connection work can be easily undertaken. In addition, the screw 17 is pressed against the conductor la with a screw tightening force, and the electrical connection thereof can be ensured. |
