PURPOSE:To improve the ratio of retry of an instruction at the time of fault of a control storage performing the control of the access request, etc., to a memory at the time of executing the instruction. CONSTITUTION:The instruction code supplied from an instruction language register 1 is set to a register 2 and a control storage 3 is started. The started control storage 3 performs sequence operations subsequently. In each sequence, the content of the control storage 3 is read in a register 4, the read content is checked by a fault detection part 5 at all times and the presence or absence of a fault is reported to a fault processing part 6. Further, the control information showing a retry enable which is set to a register 4 and is read from the control storage in the same timing is also reported to the fault processing part 6. In the fault processing part 6, when the fault is reported from the fault detection part 5, the fault processing is performed so that the retry may be performed from the head of the instruction under execution if the control information of the retry enable field shows the retry enable. |
