PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a communication fault by rejecting the registration of address data by means of a central control unit when the address data is being used by an other terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:An address code registration request signal is inputted through the communication interface 10 of a central control unit 9 to a CPU 12. The CPU 12 collates the relevant address code with address information stored in a terminal address storage register 11 to judge whether the address code has been registered or not. When it is judged to be a registered address code, the CPU 12 adds a registration reject signal to the address code, outputting it to an addressable terminal equipment 1 through the communication interface 10. When receiving an address registration reject signal at the addressable terminal equipment 1, a CPU 5 deletes an address code written in a EEPROM 6, displays that the address code has been registered so that a registration is disabled, and the equipment 1 is released from the address setting mode. |
