BLEED IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide the image processing method which can easily execute bleed of the arbitrary part of the noticed graphic by referring to the display of a CRT. CONSTITUTION:The graphic and illustration mask data are read from a blank material input device 11 and are stored into an external memory device 12. The data are then laid out and displayed on a CRT 15. The noticed graphic instructed from an instruction input device 16 is subjected to the bleed by each of cutting lines in accordance with the information on the cutting lines and residual regions. The bleed processing for one piece of the cutting line is executed by searching one point on the contour of the noticed graphic as a start point and storing the intersected points of the contour of the noticed graphic and the cutting lines existing in the residual regions in order of the searching into a vector memory 18 for open graphic and an intersected point data memory 19. The intersected points are most adequately connected to each other by the cutting lines from the vector memory 18 for open graphic and the intersected data memory 19 and are bled. The bled data are registered into an external memory device 12.
