PURPOSE:To individually call an unspecified number of selective call reception devices by providing an individual code for identification in addition to an assigned individual number code, and enabling selective call when the both match each other. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 18 once receiving a selective call signal from a radio base station fetches the individual number code from the demodulation output of a demodulating circuit 11 and compares it with the individual number of its machine stored in a memory 22. When they match each other, an individual code IC provided at the head of message codes is compared with its individual code in the memory 22 and when they match each other, a ring-back tone is sent out through an amplifier circuit 14 and a speaker 15 according to a mode specified by a mode changeover switch 23a in an input switch group 23. Further, a call display is made on an LCD display 17 through an LCD driver 16 together with the message codes. Consequently, the selective call reception device to which the same individual number code is assigned can individually be called through easy operation. |
