MICROLENS ARRAY AND ITS MANUFACTURE, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the aperture ratio and improve the video quality as to the microlens array and its manufacture, and liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:The microlens array has many microlenses 14 formed inwardly from the flat surface 12a of a glass substrate 12 and each of the microlenses 14 has a part 16 which decreases in refractive index gradually to a peak value from the position corresponding to the flat surface of the glass substrate 12 along a line perpendicular to the flat surface and a part 18 which decreases gradually from the peak value.
