The method consists in impregnating cloth (1) of refractory threads with resin, then in stacking the layers of impregnated cloth and in piercing them with holes (2) perpendicular to the pile, then in introducing fibres of refractory material (3) into the holes before hot-moulding the resulting three-dimensional structure under pressure. Applications in the aeronautical and space sector.
