A fixed broadband IP access system which is arranged to communicate information, without relying on any physical connection, between subscriber unit and basestation. The system follows a cellular deployment structure where multiple cells provide coverage to a geographical area. The system include three main groups of physical nodes the Subscriber Units (SU) consisting of the Subscriber Outdoor Unit (SOU), Subscriber Indoor unit (SIU) and the Subscriber Power Supply (SPS) the Base Station (BS) consisting of Base station Radio Controller (BRC), Base station Switch (BSW), Base station Power Supply (BPS), Base station Outdoor Unit (BOU) and Base station Antenna Element (BAE) the Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) system consisting of OAM hardware and software. |
