PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensitive recording material which does not show deterioration in whiteness nor recording density, if exposed to high temperature by providing a recording layer containing a basic dye, a developer and a chemical compound expressed by a specific formula on a support. CONSTITUTION:Each specified amount of colorless or pale basic dye, a developer and a chemical compound expressed by formula I (R1 is hydrogen atom and a 1 to 4C alkyl group; R2, R3 are hydrogen atom and a 1 to 9C alkyl group; R4 is a 1 to 9C alkyl group, phenyl group and alkyl group; l, m each is 0 or 1; and n is 1 or 2) is dispersed in an aqueous solution of water-soluble polymer to obtain a dispersion medium. This dispersion medium is mixed and stirred using a crusher such as a ball mill to prepare an application liquid for recording layer. This application liquid is applied to a support such as synthetic paper, paper or plastic film, and the coat is dried to obtain a laminated recording layer for a thermosensitive recording medium. In addition, it is possible to provide a protecting layer on the front or rear surface of the thermosensitive recording medium, if necessary. |
