<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel consumption and improve the durability of a filter trap by forming such a mechanism as judging a differential pressure change rate at the time of regeneration of the filter trap so as to close regenerating combustion. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas purifying device is provided with a filter trap 3 connected to the exhaust pipe 19 of a diesel engine 11, a burner 4 provided opposing to the upper stream side of the filter trap 3, and a differential pressure detecting sensor 28 for detecting a differential pressure between upper and lower courses of the filter trap 3. The flow amount of fuel supplied to the burner 4 is controlled depending upon the operation condition of the diesel engine 11 and the upper stream side temperature of the filter trap 3, and the filter trap 3 is regenerated. And also, when the change rate DELTAPP of the differential pressure becomes lower than a set value, regeneration of the filter trap 3 is completed.</p> |
