<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture high bearing pressure parts whose core part is enough in toughness though its surface hardness is high and excellent in durability by subjecting allay powder having a specified compsn. to sintering, compacting and annealing, thereafter working it into a desired parts shape and executing induction hardening. CONSTITUTION:Allay powder having a compsn. constituted of, by weight, <=2% C, 2 to 5% Cr, <=2% Si, <=2% Mn, <=2% V, <=12% Mo and <=24% W and satisfying 6<=Weq<=24 in the case of W+2Mo=Weq is subjected to sintering, compacting and annealing. Next, it is worked into parts having a desired shape and is subjected to induction hardening. In this way, the objective high fearing pressure parts whose core part is enough in toughness though its surface has high hardness and showing excellent durability can be obtd.</p> |
