PURPOSE:To provide an oxide material which has high electric conductivity, a wide range of transparent wave length and chemical and photochemical stability. CONSTITUTION:The oxide is a transparent compound which has the composition formula: AB2O4 (the combination of A:Mg, Zn or Cd ion and B:Ga ion; the combination of A:Mg or Zn ion and B:In ion; an arbitrary ratio combination of A:Mg, Zn or Cd ion and B:Ga or In ion; the combination of A:Li or Na ion and B:In1/2Sn1/2 ion; the combination of A: Zn ion and B:Zn2/3Sb1/3 ion and the combination of A:Zn ion and B:Zn1/2Sn1/2 ion), and a spinel type crystalline structure containing rutile chains wherein the reduction, ion replacement or excessive cation addition is optimally applied to give the electric conductivity. The excessive cation addition is applied only to the spinel type. |
