<p>The needle selectors on a circular knitting machine are operated as follows. EAch pushing unit which presses on the needle selector is under the influence of a spring whose direction of force is onto the selectors. There is also a magnet which holds it away from the selectors, and also for every pushing unit, there is a cam geared to the gauge of the machine to return every one to the magnet. The magnet is activated electronically.</p> |
