PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensitive recording material having excellent recording properties and high image stability by laminating a recording layer containing hydrindantin or its dihydrate and a specific amino compound salt on a support. CONSTITUTION:Each specified amount of 2,2'-bihydroxy[2,2'-biindane]-1,1', 3,3'-tetron (common name: hydrindantin) or its dihydrate, i.e., a chemical compound expressed by formula II and an amino compound salt expressed by formula III (n is 1 or 2; R is an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group, an aminoalkyl group, an aryl group; and R1, R2, R3, R4 are hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group and hydroxyl) is dispersed in an organic solvent as fine particles to obtain a dispersion liquid or a dissolution liquid for application. This application liquid is applied to a support such as synthetic paper or plastic film, and the coat is dried to obtain a laminated recording layer for a thermosensitive recording material. |
