PURPOSE:To provide a sealing apparatus which is protected from damage due to squeeze-out deformation and degradation in performance such as oil leak even under a pressure as high as 120kg/mm<2>. CONSTITUTION:This sealing apparatus is made from a fluororesin compsn. comprising 80-95wt.% tetrafluoroethylene copolymer prepd. from tetrafluoroethylene and a monomer copolymerizable therewith, 2-10wt.% carbon fiber, and 3-10wt.% graphite. The copolymer is used instead of simple PTFE which is conventionally used for making sealing apparatuses. |
