PURPOSE:To eliminate influence on acceleration detection output due to difference of other axis sensibilities of two axes by prescribing the directions of the other two axes except the axes detected by acceleration sensors. CONSTITUTION:When the axes (Z-axis) detected by acceleration sensors 3A-3D are set in vertical direction and acceleration of a vehicle 4 in the vertical direction is detected, the acceleration sensors 3A-3D are fitted to the vehicle 4 by setting the Y-axis of low sensibility of other axis in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 4 out of the other two axes (X-axis, Y-axis) except the detecting axis of the acceleration sensors 3A-3D. By such way, although the acceleration of the vehicle 4 in the longitudinal direction comes in a significant question, influence on the detection output in the detecting axis direction by the acceleration in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body can be reduced, because the other axis sensibility of the acceleration sensors 3A-3D in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is lower than the other axis sensibility in the vehicle width direction (X-axis). |
