<p>PURPOSE:To provide the method which can more effectively utilize the waste concrete generated at the time of breaking down concrete structures and the sledge generated in ready mixed concrete plants, etc., and the artificial aggregate for concrete obtd. by this method. CONSTITUTION:The waste concrete generated at the time of breaking down the concrete structures and the sludge generated in the ready mixed concrete plants, etc., are crushed and sieved and the fine powder parts contg. cement hydrate at a high ratio are taken out. Water or water and cement are added to these parts and the mixture is press-formed and cured to form a cured body. The cured body is coarsely crushed to form the coarsely crushed matter of the cured body and thereafter the coarsely crushed matter is brought into contact with carbon dioxide, by which the cement hydrate in the coarsely crushed matter is carbonized and the artificial aggregate for concrete is obtd.</p> |
