The device is used for fixing structural elements which have a large longitudinal extent relative to their cross-sectional area. In particular, use in the field of aviation and space flight is possible. The device is provided with a holder, which can face a mounting surface (4), and has at least one recess (7) which extends essentially at right angles to the mounting surface. A connection element (6) is guided in the recess. The connection element engages in the region of its extent facing the mounting surface in a locking element (5) which at least partially forms the holder. The locking element (5) can be spread by the connecting element (6). In order to form at least one retaining space (3), which is provided for guiding the structural elements, at least two border elements (2) (which in each case bound the retaining space in regions) are arranged one above the other. In order simultaneously to clamp the structural element in in the region of the retaining space (3) and to brace the locking element (5) in the region of the mounting surface (4), a clamping element can be coupled to the connecting element.
