<p>(1) As to a surface water pressure of a (-) pole incorporating artificial micro-gaps (a.m.s.), applied pressure ratio (applied pressure/saturated vapor pressure) is set to be » 1, and electrolysis is effected in a pressurized liquid phase having a suppressed vapor phase so as to remarkably increase an H+ ion concentration and to promote and control hydrogen absorbing capacity. (2) The surface water pressure of the (-) electrode absorbing deuterium is pulsatingly moved up and down at a low speed, and a negative pulse high voltage is applied in superposition so as to impulsively increase a plasma oscillation frequency occurring in the deuterium plasma in the artificial micro-gaps. Since a deuterium thermonuclear reaction burst is thus initiated, neutron emission capacity is promoted and controlled. When reproducibility and a control method of the phenomenon described above can be established, the present invention has a high possibility of being applied to power generation and various other industrial fields as large-, medium- and small-scale thermal energy sources.</p> |
