The invention relates to a device for securing two elongate elements such as cables, ropes, tubes, particularly for the purpose of the driving of one by means of the other. The device is characterised in that it is made up of a component through which there passes a cylindrical passage (2) including a radial slit (8) for access to the said passage, the width of which is substantially less than the diameter of the passage, and a recess (10) with U-shaped cross-section, the width of which is greater than that of the said slit (8), the bottom of which is inclined with respect to the axis (1) of the passage and emerging laterally at one of the orifices of the latter, the said recess (10) receiving the elongate pulling element (4), the end of which is set out so that it exhibits a part (9) of diameter corresponding to the width of the said slit (8) and extended by a part (12) of widened diameter corresponding to the width of the said recess (10), whereas the said passage (2) receives the elongate element (3) to be pulled.
