The assembly to purify a liquid medium flowing into or through a pipe or vessel, has a spray head with a number of inlets to generate a turbulent flow, for the water feed and/or to meter the flow. Pref. the entry and/or metering unit are dosing valves or volume dosing systems, with a variable cross section to determine the flow rate in a given time span. The feed and/or metering unit is controlled by a program, according the the readings from sensors to register the physical or chemical characteristics of the liquid and set the control valves. The spray head is a unit with a tight sealed fit to the pipe or vessel carrying the liquid medium. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is for the elimination of matter in a liquid, esp. water, such as chlorous hydrocarbons, bacteria, germs, fungi, etc. in a dwell time, to make the water potable. The assembly has an effective cleaning action, without damage to the environment.
