摘要 The fan wheel (2) with non connected friction disc coupling can be driven across a second friction disc coupling at a low windmilling rpm. The rotor (8) at its radial outer annular wall or hollow shaft (9) has a belt drive pulley (5) for a drive. A further eddy current coupling (35) is provided between the fan wheel or similar, and the rotor (8) with the belt pulley, for the prodn. of a further windmilling rpm. The rotor (8) is located on a stationary shaft (34) across a ball bearing (33). ADVANTAGE - Requires higher engineering cost compared to known unit. Facilitates reliable and adjustable windmilling speed independent of friction of ball bearing and follower effect on rotor of eddy current coupling.
