PURPOSE:To perform the linear reciprocating movement of an armature core efficiently by providing the armature both ends of which are of a conical-trapezoidal shape in double-cylinder shaped magnetic poles wherein two exciting coils are enclosed, and making the length of said armature to be a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Two exciting coils 13 and 14 which are concentrically wound around in cylindrical magnetic poles 10-12. At the center of the inner tube, is arranged as armature 20 both ends of which are machined so as to form a conical- trapezoidal shape. Rods 23 and 24 for working are attached to the armature 20. The length of the same longitudinal direction from the magnetic poles 10-12 is denoted as L. Then, the length l of the armature 20 is selected so that 1/2L<l<L. Therefore, the armature 20 can perform accurate linear reciprocating movement by alternately giving exciting pulses to the cexiting coils 13 and 14, and the thrust can be increased by forming the conical-trapezoidal shaped armature 20. |
