PURPOSE:To provide a blue toner for electrophotography which can secure the desired electrostatic charging amount, present excellent electric charge exchange performance, give sharp electric charge distribution and generate minimum toner attachment to the non-image portion of a photo-sensitive substance even after the toner is added (after toner admix), ensure less intra- machine contamination and excellent durability, and allow acquisition of a stable image quality even when a number of copies are to be produced. CONSTITUTION:A blue toner for electrophotography consists at least of binder resin and coloring agent, wherein metalless phthalocyanine and/or its derivative is used as the coloring agent together with a binder resin having an apparent viscosity at 110 deg.C below 2X10<6> poise and an electrostatic charging controlling agent, or otherwise, metalless phthalocyanine and/or its derivative is used as the coloring agent together with one or more of such pigments as copper phthalocyanine, blue inorganic pigment, violet inorganic pigment, and green inorganic pigment. |
