PURPOSE:To have phototransmitting function as a car-loaded solar cell, to improve the efficiency of initial energy conversion, and to diminish photodeterioration due to long-time solar irradiation. CONSTITUTION:A laminated solar cell 10 comprises a TCO 12, a top cell 13, a bottom cell 14, and a rear electrode 15 piled up one after another on a glass substrate 11 in the light-incidence direction side, which are connected by a series connection electrode 17. The top cell 13 to secure phototransmissivity is an a-SiC:H. i (intrinsic) type layer with an optical gap of 1.18eV or more, and the bottom cell 14 and the rear electrode 15 are partially removed. The i-type layer film thickness of two pin photoelectric transducer units should be in a predetermined film thickness range, and a contact zone is brought in an ohmic contact with a mixture of a-SiC:H with boron. This design enables a laminated solar cell to diminish photodeterioration without reducing the efficiency of initial energy. |
