PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily perform the retrieval for a document or the pages within the document for which the imparting of keywords as characters is difficult by defining image parts data as a retrieval condition, in an electronic filing system. CONSTITUTION:The partial image in image data is segmented as image parts data and is stored in a retrieval condition storage file. For retrieving image data 12 from image parts data, when image parts data 10 is selected from a selection screen 9 of image parts data, a retrieval is performed by defining the selected image parts data 10 as a condition and image data 12 to be the retrieval result is obtained. |
