PURPOSE: To prevent abrasion of commutator, by using a carbon segment to the commutator of fuel supplying electric pump of an internal combustion engine which is soaked in the liquid fuel. CONSTITUTION: Carbon commutator segment 4 is fixed to the base component by a block of stationary segment 8 which is provided in the slot 5, which is formed on the outer surface of the cylindrical insulation base component, and whose section is cross shaped and stretches toward the axial direction. Long contact component 3, which has a side part 10 fixed on the side 13 of the slot 5, is buried in the stationary segment 8, and provides terminal 15 on its each end which is connected to the lead wire 16 of the armature winding. Carbon segment 4 and a block of stationary segment 8 accommodate base component, with built up contact component 3, in its mold, then formed by injecting carbon powder and formative compounds into the space between this mold and assembly. |
