PURPOSE:To minimize the reading frequency of waveform data at the time of interpolating between adjacent waveform data in a waveform reading type sound source. CONSTITUTION:An interpolating part 25 interpolates between adjacent waveform data by the decimal part of an address to be stored in a musical tone waveform storing part 3. When the integer part of the address is changed by the increment of the address, the interpolating part 25 outputs a CARRY signal. New waveform data are read out from the storage part 3 based upon the CARRY signal and an interpolating section is updated. |
