<p>PURPOSE:To enable an unskilled user to achieve the effect of panning at appropriate shutter speed by setting the shutter speed appropriate for the panning based on the angular speed signal of a sensor which detects the angular speed of the camera having axial rotation in parallel with a screen. CONSTITUTION:The sensor 5 measures the rotation around a Y axis in parallel with the short side of the screen of the camera and detects blurring in the X direction of the screen, and the sensor 5' measures the rotation around the X axis in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the screen of the camera and detects the blurring in the Y direction of the screen. A panning speed calculation means 26 receives a value processed in a camera jiggling processing circuit and panning detection circuits 7 and 7', and calculates the tracking speed of the panning obtained by synthesizing the X direction and the Y direction of the camera. A shutter speed setting means for panning 28 sets the shutter speed optimum for a photographing condition based on the tracking speed data. Namely, the shutter speed is set based on the flowing speed of a background on the screen so that the flowing amount of the background on the screen may be a fixed value. Thus, the appropriate shutter speed in the panning is obtained.</p> |
