MULTIFORM CONTROL SYSTEM IN AREA PRINTING

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve printing efficiency and the use efficiency of a form memory by registering format data of each printing area used for printing in an area data memory. CONSTITUTION:A data processor 2 receiving data of a printing data file 13 from CPU 1 receives printing data including format set information by way of a printing control means 23 and starts a form control means 24 when format set information changes. The form control means 24 selects format data used for printing from a form control table 22 and requires an area data control means 25 to develop format data. Then the area data control means 25 combines format data of each printing area from the area data memory 34 of a printer controller 3 to develop them to a form memory 31 and the printing control means 23 edits printing data to send edited data to a memory for printing 32. After this, data of the form memory and the memory for printing 32 is synthesized and sent to a page printer 4 for printing.
