Electronic system for checking the knowledge of at least a first individual, based on a questionnaire, characterised in that it includes at least a first stand-alone electronic box (1) for capturing and storing each answer provided by the said individual to each of the questions of the said questionnaire, and a central module for collecting the answers previously stored in the said box (1) and for automatically checking the correctness of the said answers with respect to a grid of correct answers previously stored in the said central module; and in that the said box (1) and the said central module each include means for exchanging information between themselves with no physical link. <IMAGE>
