PURPOSE:To allow the updating display of a font pattern to be edited and displayed always to coincide with an updated or selected font pattern by managing the updating display of a font pattern to be displayed at the time of updating or selecting each font file. CONSTITUTION:When each file font read out from a DISK 21 to a RAM 14 during the display of edition is updated or selected, the updating display of a font pattern displayed on a CRT display 19 is managed by processing based upon a file management processing program read out by a CPU 12 following the updating or selecting status of each font file or each EC font file. Thereby the contents of a font pattern or an EC font pattern to be edited and displayed can be allowed to always coincide with the updated or selected font pattern. |
