<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a recording liq. which gives a high-quality print and a recorded image having high density, water resistance, and light resistance even when used for recording on plain paper, is excellent in storage stability, and is suitable for ink jet resording by compounding an aq. medium with a specific trisazo dye. CONSTITUTION:A recording liq. contains an aq. medium and at least one trisazo dye represented by the formula (wherein X and Y are each H, methyl, or methoxy; n is 0 or 1; and M is an alkali metal, an ammonium group, or an org. amine salt). The dye is prepd. through diazotization and coupling, and is contained in the liq. pref. in a concn. of 0.5-5wt.%, esp. 2-4wt.%. The medium pref. contains water and a water-sol. solvent such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or ethylene glycol monoallyl ether.</p> |
