摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve volumetric efficiency by removing residual refrigerant gas completely and also by increasing a sucking amount of the refrigerant gas through such a means and the like that a discharge passage for discharging residual refrigerant gas existing in a compression chamber to another compression chamber, is formed in a rotary valve. CONSTITUTION:In a rocking swash plate type compressor, rotary motion of a rotary shaft 4 is converted to backward and forward reciprocating rock motion of a rocking swash plate 9 through a rotary holder 5 and a rotary driver 6. Thus, pistons 10A move forwards and backwards in cylinder bores 1a. In this case, a suction port 1c of a compression chamber R is connected to a suction passage 17 of a rotary valve 14 synchronizing with the reciprocating motion of the pistons 10A. Furthermore, residual refrigerant gas in one of the compression chambers R is discharged to one of other compression chambers R by forming a discharge passage in the rotary valve 14. In addition, width of an inlet 18a of the discharge passage in the peripheral direction of the rotary valve 14 is made narrower than the width of a suction port 1c. The period of connecting the compression chamber R to the inlet 18a of the discharge passage is set so as to include the position of the upper dead point of the piston 10A.</p>
