PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable air conditioner capable of unbalanced vibration of a rotary heat exchanger and of preventing a refrigerant from leaking from the rotary heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Upon operation interruption, operation of a compressor 1 is continued until there are lowered to set values pressures in an outdoor rotary heat exchanger 3 and an indoor rotary heat exchanger 5, and a refrigerant accommodation tank 54 is made to communicate in itself and a pulse motor valve(PMV) 4 is fully opened. Refrigerants in the respective rotary heat exchangers 3, 5 are recovered in the tank 54. Upon operation initiation, the tank 54 is made to communicate in itself with the rotary heat exchangers 3, 5 kept rotating, and the PMV 4 is fully opened, whereby the respective rotary heat exchangers 3, 5 are filled with the refrigerant in the tank 54. Thereafter, the operation of the compressor 1 is started. |
