<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeding cassette which enables proper and precise paper feeding even when feeding envelopes. CONSTITUTION:In a paper feeding cassette 1 having pairs of side plates 6 comprising front side plates 6a and rear side plates 6b, etc., which are erected on both of the right and left sides of a paper-placing plate 4 and from the end to the middle portion of placed paper in order to regulate the direction of paper feeding while aligning the ends of sheets of paper such as envelopes P to be placed on the paper-placing plate 4, the side plates 6 are such that the size between the side plates 6 such as the front side plates 6a at the end of the paper-placing plate 4 is made larger by e.g. L0 than the size between the side plates 6 such as the rear side plates 6b at other positions.</p> |
