PURPOSE:To provide a bank note processing device by which a peculiar approval stamp of an operator can be automatically recorded on the tying band of a tied bundle of bank notes, when the tying process for bank notes is completed. CONSTITUTION:Before a tying process of bank notes is performed, a registration mode is established, and a graphic pattern to show a peculiar approval stamp of an operator is input by an optical graphic pattern reading device 3, and at the same time, the number of the operator is input by an operation unit 100, and the input graphic pattern and the number of operator, which are made correspond with to each other, are stored in a memory unit 121. Then, at the time of tying process, when the number of operator is input at the operation unit 100, a main control unit 120 reads a graphic pattern to correspond with the number from the memory unit 121, and at the same time, reads the name of financial institution or ranch name, to which the operator belongs, and which are previously stored in the memory unit 121, and transmits the information to a printing unit 68. When the tying process is completed, the printing unit 68 prints the read graphic pattern and the name of financial institution or branch name, on the tying band of the tied bank notes, as a visual image. |
