PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet eliminating a peculiar problem (image traces) caused by the formation of images on both surfaces thereof and capable of forming images of high quality on both surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving sheet consists of a base sheet and the dye receiving layers made matte formed on both surfaces of the base sheet and the glossiness of the dye receiving layers is 40% or less.
