<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with the enlargement of capacity of a transmission and suppress a speed change shock generated at switching from motor drive to engine drive. CONSTITUTION:A motor 12 is provided, and the torque generated by the motor 12 is transmitted to a transmission 13 through the output shaft 16 of the motor 12. The transmission 13 receives the torque generated by the motor 12 to perform at least two stages of speed changes and also convert the torque. An engine 11 is provided, and the torque generated by the engine 11 is outputted to the output shaft 14 of the engine 11. To the transmission 13, a common output shaft 17 for selectively transmitting the torque generated by the motor 12 and the torque generated by the engine 11 to driving wheels is connected. An intermittent means is further provided to selectively transmit the torque generated by the engine 11 to the common output shaft 17. To the transmission 13, only the torque generated by the motor 12 is transmitted.</p> |
