PURPOSE:To provide a machine tool where the mechanism is simplified and the cost is reduced without using a so-called pallet exchanging device to exchange pallets in an alternating manner, and at the same time, which reduce the non-cutting time as much as possible between the time when the actual cutting of the subsequent work is started and the time when machining of one work is completed, and where automation is easily introduced. CONSTITUTION:Two work table rotary shafts 41, 42 are provided on a preparatory station 14, and work tables 21, 22 are supported on the work table rotary shafts 41, 42 in a rotatable manner respectively. The respective work tables 21, 22 are swayable between retreat position on the preparatory station 14 and an advancing position on a fixed table around the work table rotary shafts 41, 42. The work table rotary shafts 41, 42 are arranged so as to be in the same position when two work tables 21, 22 come to the retreat position respectively. |
