<p>PURPOSE:To vary the moving speed of a painter without charging the detection pad by sliding a transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:The detection pad 7 is constituted by arranging plural, for example, two flat plates 8 and 9 one over the other; and the upper layer is a transparent flat plate (transparent plate) 9; which is arranged slidably on a flat plate 8 as the lower layer. The lower-layer flat plate 8 is provided with detection lines 10 and 11 in different colors, e.g. blue and black in a lattice shape in an X and a Y direction and the upper-layer transparent plate 9 is provided with detection lines 12 and 13 common to the detection lines 10 and 11. For that purpose, the transparent plate 9 is slid on the flat plate 8 so that the detection lines 10-13 are aligned with each other, and a mouse main body 3 is moved in this state by the same distance with its normal state to move a pointer on the monitor 2 by a half as much as in the normal state, thereby substantially reducing the moving speed of the pointer to half.</p> |
