<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with the restriction of a pause time considering wear of the tape by evading continuous contact between the same position of a tape and a head occuring at the time of the pause of the temporary stoppage of recording and reproducing of a tape recorder having a rotary head. CONSTITUTION:A head assembly rotating in the direction of the arrow with a head assembly rotation shaft 4 as a center is provided with a recording head 1, a reproducing head 2 and piezoelectric elements 3a and 3b connected to the heads. At the time of the pause of recording and reproducing, voltage applying to the piezoelectric elements 3a, 3b from a piezoelectric element control part 7 through a slip ring is sent by a cable 8 and the piezoelectric elements 3a, 3b are shrunk and a rotation radius is reduced and contact between the tape 6 and the head is interrupted.</p> |
