PURPOSE:To accurately detect the presence of toner with simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic permeability sensor 11 is fixed on an image forming device main body, to detect the presence of the toner inside a toner housing device 2. The magnetic permeability sensor 11 is fixed at a certain distance from the outer periphery of the toner housing device 2, and the impact to the magnetic permeability sensor 11 is prevented. when the toner housing device 2 is attached/detached, to prevent the damage of the magnetic permeability sensor and fluctuations in detecting accuracy, and simultaneously, to detect the presence of the toner with stable accuracy. |
