PURPOSE: To prevent decrease in control performance due to the change of a rotor resistance by controlling current supplied to an induction motor, corresponding to a rotor resistance change amount of the motor due to a temperature change in a vector controller of the motor. CONSTITUTION: In the controller for an induction motor 1, a 3-2 converter 4 obtains a d-axis current ids and a q-axis current iqs of the motor 1. Then, magnetic flux of a rotor and resistance change of the rotor are traced by a rotor magnetic flux tracing unit 6 and a rotor resistance tracing unit 15 from d-q-axis current. Changes in the rotor resistance due to an environmental change is compensated to control three-phase currents. Thus, the motor can be completely vector controlled. |
